Favorite product : Max Pro!

In the final weeks and days before a competition my diet often becomes pretty restrictive. This is when I have to keep things really pure and simple and often turn to the all natural version of MaxPro protein powder to keep my protein high. This helps prevent me from loosing valuable muscle as I restrict my calories to cut the last little bit of fat so that I am in top condition on the day of the show. MaxPro natural contains no artificial colors, flavorings, or sweetener. It is a light and simple tasting protein powder with all of the nutrients I need and nothing I don't.

This product is also great for making healthier homemade smoothies or for adding protein to snacks for younger athletes to keep their protein intake up.

RECIPE OF THE MONTH
PROTEIN PANCAKES:

Ground Cinnamon- 3 teaspoons
Egg Whites- 18 egg whites
Oat Bran- 1.5 cups
Splenda or Truvia - 9 packets

Makes about 3 pancakes. Blend all ingredients in medium bowl. Let sit to thicken for about 1/2 hour. Pour onto hot griddle or pan. Once bubbling-flip. Enjoy!

*It is easy to make and combines a perfect protein/carb/fat ratio. You can make enough to get you through the week or one for breakfast-or any time of day! Put fruit or sugar-free syrup on top or whatever your taste buds desire! You can add Davinci's sugar free syrup to batter.

Q) What is an easy way to gage how much food I should eat in regards to portion sizes?

A) These are some guidelines I try to follow that you might find helpful when trying to make healthy fit decisions to stay on track.
It's a way to MAXimize your Portions of food intake:

Palm=Proteins
Make protein portions the size of your palm.

Thumb=Fats
Make fat portions the size of your thumb. Fats are very dense.

Fist = Fruits, Grains, etc.
Make fruits, grains about the size of your closed fist. Whole grains are always preferred.

Hand= Veggies
Make an open hand and spread your fingers as wide as you can.

1 scoop= any type of Max Muscle Whey protein!

Q) Can I mix in milk or fruit into my whey protein?

A) Of course! Max Pro Vanilla protein is excellent to mix with soy milk, rick milk, fruit, peanut butter, flax seed, Hershey syrup-light of course, or adding Max Pro to oatmeal is a good treat too!

Q) What supplement do you recommend before doing cardio or long endurance training?

Update: I recently made my pro debut at the Phoenix Pro Show! My goal was to place in the top 15 and I barely made it taking 14th place! I worked with Kim Oddo as my trainer and nutritionist. He is top in the fitness industry and has taught me a lot about the sport. I had an amazing experience and felt like I met my personal figure goals!
